Although the official dates of the 2017 NSCAA Convention are Jan. 11-15, most the action begins Thursday.
From 12:45-1:45 p.m. (local time), US Club Soccer and LaLiga presented a classroom session at the Los Angeles Convention Center room 409AB, titled “Player Formation and Tactical Periodization,” and it discussed:
- LaLiga’s international plans

Afterward from 3:30-5 p.m., US Club Soccer and NPL staff hosted a general meeting in room 308A.
The exhibit hall grand opening kicked off at 6 p.m., and US Club Soccer has a large presence. The booth, No. 949, is highlighted by Players First: a branded, holistic club soccer experience emphasizing the development of each individual and helping parents make better choices about where their children should play.
Thirty minutes after the grand opening, Raul signed autographs and took photos with convention attendees at the US Club Soccer booth. Here’s what the autograph card looked like.
