“Our North American soccer presence has grown significantly through our US Club Soccer alliance, specifically the LaLiga Formation Methodology courses we introduced this year,” said Raúl, LaLiga Country Manager in the U.S. “Educating and sharing our resources with the American soccer community is fundamental to advancing LaLiga’s global objectives of growing interest and participation in our league, its teams and players.”
LaLiga signed a long-term technical partnership with US Club Soccer at the Players First launch event in August 2015 at Nike World Headquarters. The expansive partnership provides US Club Soccer members with curriculum to enhance the daily youth soccer training environment for better development of all players and coaches.
US Club Soccer hosted five LaLiga Coaching Methodology courses across the country in 2016 and will continue these offerings through 2017. The final course of 2016 was held last month in the New York metro area, while the next course on the docket is Feb. 3-5 in La Jolla, Calif.
