Christian Lavers, the Executive Vice President of C2SA – of CSM North America – who directs business development for US Club Soccer, discussed intangible contributors to an ideal training environment with Positive Coaching Alliance, a Players First partner.
Lavers, who is also the President of ECNL and the Technical Director of FC Wisconsin, said he looks for two factors: whether the players look excited and how hard they are working. Players work their hardest when they believe in what they are doing and when the coach’s messaging is encouraging.
