05 Oct Applications now being accepted to 2018 Ohio State Cup
Applications are now available for the 2018 Ohio State Cup, US Club Soccer’s state championship event for 8-U through 19-U boys and girls teams. The deadline to apply is Feb. 1.
Open to US Club Soccer member teams in Ohio, 12-U and younger age groups will play at Lost Nation Sports Park in Willoughby and 13-U and older age groups will play at North Coast Soccer Complex in Seville. The Ohio State Cup is hosted by Alliance Premier Soccer League.
Preliminary matches will be held in mid-May, and the semifinals and finals for all age groups will take place June 2-3 at Lost Nation Sports Park.
The playing format will be: 7 vs. 7 for 8-U through 10-U teams, 9 vs. 9 for 11-U and 12-U age groups and 11 vs. 11 for 13-U through 19-U teams. All Ohio State Cup champions in the 13-U through 19-U brackets will be awarded entry to the National Cup XVII Midwest Regional. Dates and locations of all National Cup XVII events are coming soon to usclubsoccer.org/nationalcup.
Teams must hold US Club Soccer passcards at the time of the event in order to participate. Teams currently not carded with US Club Soccer may do so by contacting Membership Services Representative Todd Bailey at firstname.lastname@example.org or (630) 346-7707.
