Kevin Eastman, the former Vice President of Basketball Operations for the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers, gives an enlightening example of a drill he used while coaching in the youth competitive basketball circuit. During this drill, he blindfolded one of the kids at midcourt and directed all the parents to help him score.
Although Eastman’s expertise is in basketball, this behavior is common in any sport – and is especially relevant to youth soccer.
