28 Dec SportSessionPlanner enhances platform; new animation feature complimentary to US Club Soccer subscriptions
SportSessionPlanner has added animation features to its platform, helping coaches visually demonstrate their sessions. The sports software company features 3-D planning tools and is a crucial organizational tool for coaches to create sessions and collaborate curriculum with their clubs.
The animation features are easy to use, and coaches can add simple or more advanced animation to their sessions – demonstrating ball and player movement from start to finish. A brief tutorial video is available here.
Through a special Players First offer, US Club Soccer members receive the platform at half price, along with an exclusive library of international sessions and US Club Soccer-specific sessions, including id² and PDP. The new animation feature is complimentary in new subscriptions, and for existing subscriptions, animation has already been added.
Here are a collection of special sessions within US Club Soccer’s exclusive library:
- US Club Soccer PDP session
- ECNL PDP session
- Transition session from March 2017 id² Training Camp
- Attacking principles from December 2016 id² Training Camp
- 2016 ECNL/id² National Training Camp session
- Shooting drills from New York Red Bulls Academy
- Welsh Football Association session
When US Club Soccer launched Players First more than three years ago, the initiative intended to provide a holistic club soccer experience for parents and players, which emphasizes the development of each individual to his or her full potential, and helps parents make better choices about where their children should play.
In order to help members adopt Players First, US Club Soccer is providing a suite of best-in-class resources, which add value to clubs, coaches, parents and players. That’s where SportSessionPlanner comes in, as it advances the Players First pillars of Club Development and Coaching Development.
“SportSessionPlanner is instrumental for us in terms of mapping out specific training sessions within our club-wide curriculum,” said Mikey Varas, of Sacramento Republic FC. “We have found the interface to be well-designed and user-friendly. We will continue to use SportSessionPlanner, as we have found it to be helpful in streamlining the planning process.”
Coaches on the East Coast have found SportSessionPlanner to be an asset, as well. “I have used SportsSessionPlanner for over a year now and find it to be a tremendous resource for both coaches and players,” said Simon Muckle, PDA Shore Boys DOC. “I especially like the fact that it provides a bright and clear visual aid for the players to understand the games, activities or exercises that I use in the sessions. This allows the players to have a better understanding of what is being worked on.”
