08 Feb World Football Academy to host coaching courses in March in San Diego, Seattle and Houston
World Football Academy, a Players First partner advancing the Coaching Development pillar, will host three coaching education courses in March in San Diego, Seattle and Houston.

World Football Academy has developed this renowned education program for coaches looking to improve themselves and give their teams a competitive advantage. Raymond Verheijen, a leading expert in periodization, will lead these courses.
Verheijen has a master’s degree in exercise physiology and sport psychology, and has worked with multiple professional teams including Barcelona, Chelsea, the Feyenoord Academy and Manchester City. At the international level, he is the only coach to have worked with teams at each of the last eight World Cups or EUROS – Holland (Euro 2000, 2004), South Korea (FIFA World Cup 2002, 2006 and 2010), Russia (Euro 2008 and 2012) and Argentina (FIFA World Cup Final 2014).
World Football Academy joined the growing list of Players First partners in Sept. 2015, and has contributed youth periodization webinars to US Club Soccer members.
