12 Jun Twelve teams punch ticket to National Cup XVII Finals after winning Virginia State Cup Championship
RICHMOND, Va. – Sixteen teams across seven clubs have won Virginia State Cup Championships and the dozen 13-U through 19-U division winning teams have subsequently clinched spots in the National Cup XVII Finals.
The 15-U through 19-U teams finished their portion of the cup in December, while the 11-U through 14-U competitors played out their preliminary games in March and April, before the semifinal and final at the end were held at West Creek Complex in Richmond, Va. on May 19-20.
Prince William Soccer finished with four champions across both gender groups (two boys and two girls age groups), while Richmond Strikers finished with three boys division titles, FC Virginia took home three girls championships and Annandale United recorded two boys and one girls group winners.
