About:

The Minnesota US Club Cup is US Club Soccer’s state championship event for member teams in the U-11 through U-17 boys and girls age groups. The event began in 2014.

It is an open tournament recommended for elite teams. US Club Soccer members from other states, as well as NPL and ECNL clubs, are eligible. Games are played at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn., the world’s largest amateur sports and meeting facility.

Format:

  • U-11 plays 9 vs. 9
  • U-12 through U-17 plays 11 vs. 11
  • World Cup-style groups with top teams advancing to playoffs
  • Three FIFA regulation-length games guaranteed for each team

Competition Details:

The championship-winning teams from 12-U through 17-U age groups receive a free entry to the National Cup XVI Midwest Regional, which will be held June 23-26 in Chicago.

Eligibility:

In order to participate, all teams must hold valid US Club Soccer passcards at the time of the event. Teams currently not carded with US Club Soccer may do so by contacting Membership Services Representative Todd Bailey (contact information below).
