About the National Cup XVI:

The National Cup is US Club Soccer’s cup-based national championship competition. The Midwest, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic Regionals are open to all member teams in 12-U through 18/19-U boys and girls age groups (birth years: 2005s, 2004s, 2003s, 2002s, 2001s, 2000s and combined 1998/99s). To accommodate the local landscapes in the West and Northwest, those two Regionals will include all those age groups and 2006s.

Winning teams from National Cup XVI Regionals and qualifying state cups in 13-U through 18/19-U age groups (birth years: 2004s, 2003s, 2002s, 2001s, 2000s, 1998/99s) advance to the National Cup XVI Finals, where national championships will be awarded in two competitive divisions (Super Group and Premier Group).

Fees:

  • $695 for 12-U teams^
  • $895 for 13-U through 18-U/19-U teams^

^if paid by April 27; thereafter, fees increase by $100
^fee increases an additional $100 on May 11.

There is $100 per team parking fee at Libertyville Township Soccer Complex. Please pay via paypal to ltscpayment@gmail.com. Please enter your Team name and age group in the memo section.

Important information to review:

NOTE: Filming from an elevated viewpoint is not permitted, as this is an insurance liability to US Club Soccer. We welcome personal recording of your athletes and teams at the Midwest Regional, but ask for your cooperation regarding the height of your personal filming apparatuses.

Team Check-In:

At check-in, teams must present the following:

  1. Official team roster (up to 26 players), downloaded and printed from US Club Soccer’s registration platform
  2. US Club Soccer passcards for all players, coaches and managers on the roster
  3. Copies of all Player Medical Treatment Authorization forms

Team check-in takes place at two places for your convenience; you only have to show up to one:

  1. Thursday, June 22 from 6-9 p.m. CT at the Marriott Courtyard Chicago Waukegan (in a meeting room)
  2. 90 minutes prior to your team’s first game at the respective facility’s headquarters tent***

*** If you would rather check in via the second option, you must give advance notice to US Club Soccer Director of Events Alexandra Rieben at arieben@usclubsoccer.org.

Eligibility:

The National Cup is restricted to US Club Soccer-carded teams. Teams that are not currently members may join prior to the event. Please contact your membership services representative for information on how non-carded teams may join to apply.

Refund Policy:

A $1,000 penalty will be imposed for any team that drops within three weeks of the Regional for which the team applied. The application fee is non-refundable.

For participants: All 15-U through 19-U participants are required to have their online scouting profiles completed with our college recruitment partner, www.scoutingzone.com. Team managers will receive emails with instructions. Teams that already have profiles set in SCOUTINGZONE only need to make sure they are updated.
