Second World Football Academy webinar ‘Better Training Instead of More Training’ now available on demand

World Football Academy USA’s second webinar, “Better Training Instead of More Training,” is now available for streaming at a special US Club Soccer discount. Ten days ago, US Club Soccer coaches were exposed to world-renowned periodization expert Raymond Verheijen’s guidance on football-specific fitness.

Coaches and staff may watch the webinar here and use WFAUSCLUB2 to gain 72-hour access for only $5 (standard retail price is $15). This rate is valid until Friday, Feb. 19 at 5 p.m. ET.

This second webinar continues the ongoing series’ theme of periodization. It was recorded as part of US Club Soccer’s Players First initiative.

The information is extraordinary,” said University of North Carolina women’s soccer coach Anson Dorrance.

World Football Academy USA joined US Club Soccer as a Players First partner in September 2015 to advance the Coaching Development pillar. Verheijen is widely recognized as the world’s leading expert and educator in soccer periodization. He is the only coach to have been involved in each of the last eight World Cup and Euro Championships and has advised FC Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City, South Korea, the Netherlands and Argentina (to the World Cup Final 2014).

A National Association member of the U.S. Soccer Federation, US Club Soccer is an organization committed to the development and support of soccer clubs in the United States.

US Club Soccer offers youth and adult registration, league- and cup-based competition platforms at the recreational and competitive levels, as well as a variety of other programming, including the Olympic Development Program-sanctioned id2 Program and Player Development Programs.

Through US Club Soccer, all of a club’s programs – recreational, competitive and adult – are able to be united under one organizational umbrella, creating a “members for life” culture within each club. US Club Soccer is sponsored by Nike. | Facebook | Twitter | YouTube | Instagram
