As a part of Players First, Fit For 90 – in partnership with US Club Soccer – is continuing its series of coaching education webinars with the announcement of its second free, live webinar.
Player Monitoring in Youth Sports
How to use technology to optimize your training, presented by Dr. John Cone
Two dates are available to give coaches an opportunity to attend:
- Wed., April 27 at 1 p.m. ET
- Thurs., June 16 at 1 p.m. ET

The first webinar, titled “How to Maximize Performance and Prevent Injuries in Youth Soccer,” was held on two dates in April.
In this webinar, Dr. Cone will share:
- How to prevent non-contact, overuse and growth-related injuries by monitoring player readiness and training.
- Which technologies are the most effective for your team or club to monitor player health and safety.
- How to implement a training methodology and comprehensive monitoring system to simultaneously improve performance and development, while preventing injuries.
At the end of the webinar we’ll discuss Fit For 90’s content partnership and how you can get access to resources for parents and players as well as additional coaching education.

As part of Players First and the pillars of Coaching Development and Player Health & Safety, US Club Soccer encourages coaches to further their education through resources like the webinars provided by Fit For 90. Each webinar will focus on coaching education and be provided at no cost by Fit For 90. Learn from Dr. John Cone, a leading soccer-specific sports scientist, U.S. Soccer Federation consultant and sports science instructor for the newly launched Professional License and Academy Director course.
Each webinar will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session with Dr. Cone. Additional webinars covering other topics will be announced in the coming weeks as part of Fit For 90’s coaching education initiative.
