19 Dec Raúl, LaLiga join US Club Soccer to headline 2017 NSCAA Convention with classroom, field & autograph sessions
US Club Soccer is preparing for another large presence at the 2017 NSCAA Convention, Jan. 11-15 in Los Angeles, Calif. Drawing 4,000-plus coaches and more than 10,000 attendees, the event is billed as the “World’s Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches.”
Featuring LaLiga Formation Methodology clinicians, Gari Fullaondo and Hugo Blanco, and Real Madrid legend, Raúl González Blanco, US Club Soccer is hosting a classroom session, field session and autograph signing.
The US Club Soccer booth is highlighted by Players First: a branded, holistic club soccer experience emphasizing the development of each individual and helping parents make better choices about where their children should play.

“Our North American soccer presence has grown significantly through our US Club Soccer alliance, specifically the LaLiga Formation Methodology courses we introduced this year,” said Raúl, LaLiga Country Manager in the U.S. “Educating and sharing our resources with the American soccer community is fundamental to advancing LaLiga’s global objectives of growing interest and participation in our league, its teams and players.”
LaLiga signed a long-term technical partnership with US Club Soccer at the Players First launch event in August 2015 at Nike World Headquarters. The expansive partnership provides US Club Soccer members with curriculum to enhance the daily youth soccer training environment for better development of all players and coaches.
US Club Soccer has hosted five LaLiga Coaching Methodology sessions across the country in 2016 and will continue these offerings through 2017. The final session of 2016 was held Dec. 16-18 in the New York metro area. A full recap will be available soon.
