19 Jan Friday’s LaLiga field session to improve players’ offensive and defensive tactics, decision-making
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. | LaLiga Formation Methodology transitions from the classroom to the field, Friday afternoon during the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Convention.
Thursday afternoon, LaLiga Formation Methodology experts Gari Fullaondo, Hugo Blanco and Zun Fullaondo delivered an informative classroom session to about 250 coaches. Twenty-four hours later, they’re back to present a field session of offensive and defensive tactics. For those attending the Convention, the field session – “Translating Tactical Training to the Game” will take place at the Kwik Goal Demo Field 1 in Exhibit Hall C from 1-2 p.m.
A detailed session plan is available for download here. A brief warm-up is first, then exercises designed to improve various tactics – speed of play, counter-attack, spatial awareness, maintaining possession, closing passing lanes, etc. – followed by a cool-down.
