24 Aug Beyond Pulse presents first episode of Speed Series via Facebook Live
US Club Soccer and Beyond Pulse presented the first episode of the Beyond Pulse Speed Series, ‘Stages of Speed Trainability in Youth Soccer,’ Thursday at 12 p.m. ET. Beyond Pulse expert Johnny Wilson led the webinar and addressed the questions: does the ‘speed gene’ exist, and can we train speed in young soccer players to increase their performances on the field?
In the 20-minute episode, Wilson examined the first two age groups of trainability: 5-10 (sampling window) and 11-15 (specialization window).
