2024 New Jersey/Eastern Pennsylvania/Delaware Cup opens registration
CHARLESTON, S.C. (Nov. 13, 2023) – Registration is now open for the 2024 NJ/EPA/DE Cup, US Club Soccer’s state championship event for U-11 through U-19 boys and girls teams in the tri-state area. The first games of the tournament kick off March 11 and progress through June 9 in the tri-state metro area.
The NJ/EPA/DE Cup is expected to welcome more than 150 teams in 2024.

While the quantity of teams offers New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware competitors an opportunity to play a variety of teams with minimal travel, the quality of the NJ/EPA/DE Cup tournament field will appeal to different competition levels. There are two competitive levels offered at the NJ/EPA/DE Cup: Super Group (most competitive) and Premier Group.
- Super Group winners of U-13 through U-19 boys and girls divisions earn qualification to the 2024 National Cup Finals, to be held July 18-25 in Denver, Colorado.
- All other U-13 through U-19 participants, including Premier Group teams, are encouraged to register to the 2024 National Cup XXIII Southeast Regional, June 15-18 in Bermuda Run, N.C. for a pathway to the Finals.
Teams must hold US Club Soccer passcards at the time of the event to participate. Teams currently not carded with US Club Soccer may do so by emailing Regional General Manager Brynn McDonald at bmcdonald@usclubsoccer.org.
FAQs
Does my club/team need to be registered with US Club Soccer to participate? What if I’m not currently registered?
Teams will need to register with US Club Soccer, if not already registered. You can do that here.
Are there set play dates? Does each round need to be played by a certain deadline?
Play will begin March 11th and end June 9th. The two competing teams are responsible for scheduling a game time that works mutually. Each round will need to be completed by a certain date, TBD.
Where will games be played?
The higher seed will host and be responsible for scheduling referees. Referee fees to be split between two competing teams.
Are all three states competing for one title?
Yes, teams from New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware will all be competing against each other.
Since there are three states involved, what is the expected travel?
In initial rounds, teams will be matched with consideration to travel time. Each team is responsible for its respective travel.
Is there an additional fee to compete in National Cup Finals?
No, there is no additional registration fee for teams that qualify directly (super group winners). However, teams are responsible for travel to, meals and lodging in Denver.
What if my team doesn’t qualify directly for National Cup Finals?
If you do not qualify directly at the State Cup level and wish to attend National Cup Finals, your team can also compete in the Southeast Regional. More information can be found here.
What are important deadlines?
The deadline to register is March 1, 2024 and the deadline for payment is March 8, 2024. Rosters must be finalized and uploaded to GotSport by March 7th.
Are you able to play up an age group?
