Eighteen teams win division titles at 2026 National Cup West Regional
TEMECULA, Calif. (June 29, 2026) – The fourth and final Regional of the 2026 National Cup concluded Monday afternoon at Galway Downs Soccer Complex in Temecula, California. Eighteen teams reigned supreme, winning their respective divisions and in doing so, clinched berths to next month’s National Cup Finals in Denver, Colorado.
In total, 98 teams representing 51 clubs across seven states competed in the 2026 National Cup West Regional. Four clubs won two divisions apiece: Apple Valley SC (U-15 boys Premier Group, U-16 boys Premier Group), Downey FC (U-14 boys Premier Group, U-19 Girls), Empire Surf (U-14 girls Super Group, U-15 girls Premier Group) and LA City (U-14 boys Super Group, U-15 boys Super Group).
For Apple Valley SC, its U-15 team last year won the West Regional’s U-15 boys Premier Group and then came back this year to win the U-16 boys Premier Group, scoring 10 goals and not conceding any to its opponents. LA City United and Empire Surf also defended last year’s titles with championship performances in the U-14 boys Super Group and U-14 girls Super Group divisions, respectively.
