US Club Soccer player and staff registration for the 2022-23 season is now open in GotSport.

Please read below for important information.

June 1, 2022:

  • Registration opens in GotSport for the 2022-23 season.
  • Memberships/registrations may be purchased.
  • Teams may request affiliation with a league / league admins may approve team affiliation requests.
  • Eligibility requirements (SafeSport, background screening, etc.) may be completed.

July 1, 2022

  • First day of the 2022-23 season, meaning 2022-23 passcards and rosters are valid and may be used.
  • Registration opens in TGS for teams/players and staff participating in ECNL.

July 31, 2023:

  • Last day of 2022-23 season.
  • Staff registration fees are valid for a single registration year, and the Staff – Competitive and Staff – Super Rec fees have been revised. Please see this member update for details.

  • Headshot photos are now a registration requirement for Staff (all) and Players (competitive + adult).

  • New functionality is available in GotSport for two player registration requirements applicable for all youth players who will be 18+ years old during the 2022-23 registration year (on or before July 31, 2023), and any adult player who is on a team with a Minor Athlete:

    1. SafeSport training for players

    2. Sex Offender Registry (SOR)-Disqualification-Suspension Review (Players) certification by member org admin

These requirements must be completed and approved in the player’s account for registration to be valid, a passcard to be issued, and the player to appear on a roster. That means some 16- and 17-year-olds will be required to complete SafeSport Training with parental consent.

Below are some of the steps taken by US Club Soccer and our partners to prepare for the 2022-23 summer registration period, with the goal of appropriately servicing our members.

  • We decentralized and restructured our member administration department from five regions (A/B/C/D/E) to three (East/Central/West), each with a manager, and collectively supported by five additional full-time administrators working between regions based on volume and need.

  • We added nine Seasonal Member Administrators (SMAs) throughout the country to assist with the surge of registration verifications and related processes during the summer rush. These SMAs will allow us to have more coverage in different time zones, during the week, at night, and during the weekend.

  • We transitioned our member administration support to an online ticketing platform (Zendesk), which will allow our existing staff to more efficiently triage and address inquiries. As part of that, we are phasing out the former AdminRegionA/B/C/D/E@ mailboxes. Moving forward, please submit a ticket/questions to US Club Soccer’s member administration staff viahttps://usclubsoccer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

  • In a collaborative effort with our partner GotSoccer, numerous GotSport platform enhancements have launched, are in process, and are planned. Some of them are outlined on the Functionality Updates – Recent and Forthcoming web page.
