South Central Regional kick starts 2026 National Cup Regionals

TULSA, Okla. (June 15, 2026) – The South Central Regional, the summer’s first Regional event of the 2026 National Cup tournament series, concluded Monday afternoon after four days of competition at Mohawk Sports Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In total, 11 teams representing seven clubs were awarded Regional titles and qualification to next month’s National Cup Finals in Denver, Colorado.

The South Central Regional, which featured 70 teams in total from 30 clubs across six states in the region, offered a competitive cup-based environment for U-13 through U-19 boys and girls teams. Oklahoma Celtic turned in a dominant club performance, clinching four of the five girls divisions. That included last year’s U-13 title-winning team, which returned to Tulsa to win the U-14 age group in thrilling fashion, narrowly defeating the defending champions, FC Westlake, in penalty kicks.

On the boys’ side of the competition, Real Salt Lake El Paso also repeated as champions, winning the U-13 division for the second consecutive year. FC Dallas saw two of its teams win age groups (U-15 boys and U-16 boys).
