US Club Soccer & ECNL club leaders,

We shared an update last month indicating that, effective as of June 1, 2026, and moving forward for the 2026-27 season, all US Club Soccer player and staff registration for ECNL participants will take place in GotSport. Please read below for additional updates and action items.

May 13 update:

Players registered with US Club Soccer through April 15, 2026, for the 2025-26 season via Athlete One are now available in a “staging table” section of your club’s GotSport account. This step will aid in the transition by allowing club administrators to automatically sync previously completed requirements via Athlete One and import these players into their GotSport account.

Those requirements include proof of birth verification, US Club Soccer Form R002 completion, and, if applicable, SafeSport Training and Adverse Eligibility List-Sex Offender Registry (SOR) Review.

Action required by club administrators:

1. Access your club’s GotSport account.
2. Following the instructions detailed on this page to review and take action on the 2025-26 player data from Athlete One.

A look ahead:

The technology that will send and sync players and staff who will participate in ECNL from GotSport to Athlete One has been built and is currently undergoing testing. We remain on track for launch on June 1. More details and instructional articles will be available closer to June 1.
